Particularly in the production of food and herbal medicinal products best-practice standards and certificates become ever more important and are increasingly often requested by the regulatory authorities (e.g., certificate of origin). WHO has recently published GACP guidelines (Good Agricultural and Collection Practices), following the GAP guidelines. Additionally there are production standards (e.g., GMP), ecological and fair-trade certifications, and corporate policies and strategies. As independent agency we conduct audits (e.g., GAP) and organise the preparation for external certifications.
